P0340-camshaft position sensor a circuit P0572-brake switch a circuit low P0340 Camshaft and crankshaft signals are normal and in sync at this time. Wiring and connectors ok. Suspect intermittent cam and crank sensor failure. Replaced both cam and crank sensors. Cleared diagnostic trouble codes and test drove vehicle.
Scanned system and retrieved code P0572 Inspected brake switch and found intermittent internal failure of brake light switch. Recommend replace brake light switch and recheck.Replaced stop light switch. Test drove-ok.

Changed engine oil and filter. Checked and replenished all fluids. Checked and adjusted tire air pressure.
Rotated tires, adjusted air pressure and torqued wheel nuts to specification.
Removed and replaced both left and right exhaust manifolds. Removed 3 broken mounting studs. Replaced all mounting hardware and gaskets.
Replaced all 16 spark plugs and inspected coil boots and coils.
Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.
Drained and filled transfer case with manufacturer specified fluid.

Replaced camshaft, all valve lifters, oil pump, thermostat, water pump, spark plugs, ignition coil boots, rear main seal housing, oil pan gasket and exhaust manifold hardware. Changed engine oil and filter. Replenished engine coolant. NOTE: All parts not listed on invoice supplied by customer.

Inspection found oil pan covered in oil. Found threaded oil gallery plug on drivers side of engine leaking oil, oil is running down block and pan. Recommend remove a/c compressor and gallery plug, then reseal plug. Removed a/c compressor, resealed oil gallery plug. Cleaned engine and differential, road tested. Rechecked for leaks-ok. Warranty Repair – No Charge To Customer

Replaced engine assembly with re-manufactured assembly with 3 year 100K mile warranty. During installation replaced water pump, crossover tube, thermostat, lower radiator hose, serpentine belt, spark plugs, ignition coil boots, pcv valve, radiator cap and oil dipstick tube and indicator. Replenished engine coolant. Changed engine oil and filter. Bled air from cooling system. Performed all necessary adjustments. Test drove vehicle. Advised customer to return to LMAC in approximately 500 miles for a free courtesy inspection of the vehicle.
