- P0457-Evaporative emission system-loose gas cap. Checked gas cap-cap is tight. Removed purge valve and checked for vacuum on tank side of valve-none present. Checked actuating valve multiple times-no vacuum leaks, valve seals properly. Smoke tested system-no leaks found at this time. Replaced leak detection pump and cleared codes. Test drove vehicle.
