    • P0172-fuel system rich Engine is sluggish to rev, feels like plugged exhaust. Checked backpressure-1.5 psi hot on rev limiter-ok. Cam crank differential is 11 degrees. Coolant temp and o2 sensor data looks ok. Recommend remove timing covers and check cam timing and for bent/broken cam dowels.
    • Removed timing belt, cam and crank marks line up, but belt has excessive slack. Removed cam gears, dowels and gears ok. Replaced belt and set proper tension. Replaced water pump and replenished engine coolant. Vehicle starts and runs normally. Replaced radiator, drive belts and condensor fan with no additional labor charge. Charged ac system and test drove vehicle.
    • Changed engine oil and filter. Checked and replenished all fluids. Checked and adjusted tire air pressure.

    • Changed engine oil and filter. Checked and replenished all fluids. Checked and adjusted tire air pressure.
    • Confirmed complaint, gets worse the slower the wheel is turned. Lifted vehicle and found front tires scrubbing badly and both tires at minimum spec of 3/32nds. Tires are 6 years old. Suspect poor alignment causing confusion with electronic power steering. Vehicle does track straight on test drive. Upon inspection found no problems with steering or suspension, no current work seems to have been performed. Checked for TSB's and found no relevent information on this specific problem. Vehicle equipped with electric controlled hydraulic power steering. No leaks or wiring damage found during inspection. Monitored data in EPS module, no abnormalities found at this time.

    • Found battery dead. Charged battery and inspected connections. Found two separate corroded and or loose connections in the charging system. Corrected all connections. Load tested charging system and found alternator output to be at 86 amps. Test drove vehicle.
