2009 Toyota Matrix
Mileage1,682,670Service Date10/14/2024Services Performed- Inspected front suspension and found drivers side strut to be relatively new and the passenger side is original. Also found one mounting bolt to the sub frame cut off and the fixed nut inside the body frame busted loose and spinning freely. Also noted the left lower control arms retaining bolts to be loose.
- Replaced both left and right strut assemblies. Also tightened to specification all control arms and mounts. NOTE: Recommend an alignment as soon as possible.
- Cut a hole in the body frame and extracted broken bolt an nut. Welded new nut in place. Patched and painted access holes and replaced subframe mounting bolt. Test drove vehicle.

Approximate remaining life is: Front ( 0%) Rear ( 90%) Front driver inner pad is metal on metal passenger side is warped Recommend replacing front brake pads and rotors, and service the rear brake pads
- Replaced front disc brake rotors and disc brake pad set. Cleaned and lubricated brake calipers and slide mechanisms. Check and fill brake fluid. Bleed air from system. Road test vehicle.
- Disassembled, cleaned and properly lubricated rear brake system. Test drove vehicle.
