P0300 P0305 P0307 P0420 Diag check engine light. Found bank 1 misfire codes and bank 1 catalyst efficiency low code. Vehicle runs good, could not duplicate misfire. Suspect catalytic converter is intermittently plugging and causing misfire. Recommend replacing catalytic converters and a tune up.
Caused by check engine light
Exhaust hangers are incorrect so tailpipe hits heat shield and frame when hitting big bumps. Recommend having an exhaust shop build a new tailpipe
Replaced catalytic converter and both oxygen sensors. Test drove vehicle-OK.
Replaced valve cover gaskets and spark plugs. Test drove vehicle-Ok.

Got car up to operating temperature and noticed thermostat is stuck , coolant is dirty and debris from radiator cap disintegrated possible heater core would be clogged. Recommend replacing thermostat and coolant flush then recheck
Retrieved code P2423 Toyota HCAC- system bank 1. Researched trouble code and found the pertaining code is a generic code for catalytic converter failure. Erased code and test drove, check engine light remained off.
Removed and replaced reservoir tank, filled to proper fill level
Removed and replaced thermostat & gasket , flushed heater core had corrosive and dirty coolant. Replenished fluid cleaned area, test drove-OK no leaks at the moment. Heater now operating as designed
Flushed cooling system with 3 gallons of coolant. Inspected radiator. radiator cap, belts, hoses and thermostat operation. Road tested vehicle.

Test drove vehicle and observed for signs of rotor/drum warpage. Inspected front and rear brake systems for abnormal wear and remaining life of brake pads/shoes. Inspect entire system for leaks. Approximate remaining life is: Front ( 50 %) Rear ( 60 %) no signs of abnormal wear on rotors Removed caliper and found slide pins seized
Replaced front disc brake rotors and disc brake pad set. Cleaned and lubricated brake calipers and slide mechanisms. Check and fill brake fluid. Bleed air from system. Road test vehicle.
