- Verified customer concern of intermittent cruise control inoperable. Scanned ECM for codes and none present at this time. Monitored speed control data while road testing and all control switch data operates as designed. Smoke tested vacuum system for cruise control, found and replaced broken vacuum hose. Road tested and cruise control still intermittently doesn't work. Preformed wiggle and tap tests on ECM and speed control servo while on rack. No change. Tested vacuum pump, power and ground good. Replaced vacuum pump and test drove vehicle approximately 19 miles. No further cruise control faults noted.
