- Test drove vehicle, verified surging while under load. Monitored data and noted boost pressure readings are erratic. Checked wastegate operation-opens and closes normally with air pressure applied, diaphragm holds pressure. Tested wastegate solenoid, not sealing properly, and turbo bypass valve also leaks air pressure. Recommend replace wastegate solenoid and turbo bypass valve, then recheck.
- Replaced turbo wastegate solenoid. Test drove-vehicle drives and performs normally.
