- ABS and traction control lights on. P0504- Brake switch A/ B correlation. C1246- Fault in master cylinder pressure sensor. Found brake lights do not work. STOP lamp fuse in underhood fusebox blown. Replaced and tested ok. Test drove and fuse blew within 1 mile. Opened camper shell hatch and found wiring on driver side rear corner chewed to pieces. Power and ground wires shorting together and blowing fuse. Cut back damage and taped exposed ends. Test drove with no problems. Attempted to repair wiring to camper shell 3rd brake light, found LED brake light inoperative. Aftermarket CTC shell has 3rd brake assembly double sided taped to shell and may be hard wired. Checked wiring to shell and found no switched power for 3rd brake light to be able to function. Checked aftermarket wiring from left brake light assembly and found no problems. Suggest replace 3rd brake assembly and run independent wiring to make function properly. Wired interior light for camper shell and works normally with switch. Shell hatch cable chewed through but can be opened by opening side glass and operating manually.
- Removed left rear tail lamp and found wiring harness melted. Melted single wire running to battery. Disconnected from battery. Followed wiring harness damage under vehicle to junction next to spare tire. Suggest replace body side of harness 2-3 feet with connector and tail light sub harness with sockets and connector. Isolated wiring and found check engine light still on. P0504- brake switch "A" / "B" correlation. Repaired all wiring and replaced lamp socket/harness assembly.
