    • Track bar has a bad bushing, right upper control arm bushing bad, steering stabilizer leaking, right front axle U joint bad and left front axle U joint has excessive play. Recommend replacing track bar, control arm, steering stabilizer and both front axle U joints.
    • Replaced drag link with new unit. Lubricated fittings.
    • Replaced right upper control arm. Torqued fasteners to specification
    • Replaced front steering damper assembly. Test drove vehicle.
    • Removed both left and right axle assemblies. Replaced both outer universal joints and test drove vehicle. During repair found left front brake caliper missing mounting bolt. Replaced both bolts.

    • Battery voltage is low, had to jump start vehicle. No charging system output. Voltage at charge post and regulator plug ok. Recommend replace alternator and recheck.
    • Removed and replaced alternator tested charging system and its good
    • Test drove vehicle and observed for signs of rotor/drum warpage. Inspected front and rear brake systems for abnormal wear and remaining life of brake pads/shoes. Inspect entire system for leaks. Approximate remaining life is: Front (85%) Rear (15%)
    • Replaced front disc brake rotors and disc brake pad set. Cleaned and lubricated brake calipers and slide mechanisms. Check and fill brake fluid. Bleed air from system. Road test vehicle.

    • Scanned for codes-no codes stored or pending. Test drove-shudder on takeoff after vehicle warms up, shifts are slow at times. No signs of fluid leakage from bellhousing. Clutch self tests pass. Monitored clutch slippage on takeoff-slippage is more than 250 rpms, per Ford tsb, need to remove trans and inspect clutch for fluid contamination. If wet, input shaft seals and clutch will need to be replaced. If dry, clutch will need to be replaced. Reprogramming of tcm in either case needed. No repair done at this time
