    • P0300-P0306-misfire detected on all cylinders. Removed front bank spark plugs. Electrodes are very clean and smell like coolant. Pressure test of cooling system found coolant leaking into cylinders. Also noted scoring on cylinder walls. Recommend either remove cylinder heads, or replace engine based on cylinder wall scoring.
    • Pressure tested cooling system-no external leaks at this time. Removed spark plugs for cylinders 4, 5 and 6. Used borescope to check cylinders-4 and 5 have a puddle of coolant, and 6 has some droplets on cylinder wall. Also noted scoring on cylinder walls. Suspect upper radiator hose came off due to excessive pressure in cooling system due to head gasket failure.
    • Removed cylinder heads for machining. Reinstalled heads, installed new timing belt, water pump and all necessary gaskets. Changed engine oil and filter, filled cooling system. Test drove-vehicle performs normally, check engine light came on with P0137 and P0157, rear oxygen sensor low voltage codes. Testing found rear oxygen sensors bad, recommend replace. Replaced both sensors, test drove-
    • Inspected, cleaned and re-surfaced both cylinder heads.

    • P0722-output shaft speed sensor circuit-no signal P1500-vehicle speed sensor. Verified tsb noted, recommend replace internal lead frame(transmission internal"harness"). Timing cover has minor oil leak above compressor, oil pan and steering rack are dry. Recommend monitor leak. Transfer case fluid is dirty, no leak fromrear seal, just starting to seep. Recommend service fluid and monitor seepage. Vacuum pump is leaking oil down bellhousing and exhaust/turbo. Recommend replace vacuum pump.
    • Removed transmission oil pan, gasket and filter. Replaced valve body and lead frame assembly. Replaced pan gasket and filter. Replenished transmission fluid. Performed programming procedures and test drove vehicle.

    • Drained and filled transfer case with factory specified fluid.`
    • Replaced serpentine belt and inspected pulley system.

    • Inspected ac system and found low side service port leaking. Replaced schrader valve. Vacuumed system and performed leak test. Charged system to specification and added oil and dye to system. Test drove vehicle and received 39degree air temp from center vent.

    • Vehicle starts normally at this time. Scanned vehicle for codes. P1A0C-hybrid power train control module-engine disabled. TCM P0562-system voltage low P1A03-drive motor A shutdown circuit U0100-lost communication with ECM PCM is operating and communicating normally. Suspect PCM power relay is failing. Swapped power relay and blower motor relay, test drove. Noted occasional fan speed change while driving, and noted that blower relay is hotter than PCM power relay. Recommend replace PCM power relay and recheck. Replaced PCM power relay, test drove-ok.

    • P0420-Catalyst system low efficiency bank 1 P0011-Intake cashaft position system performance. Monitored both bank 1 oxygen sensors-sensors mirror each other, indicating a failed catalyst. Also noted and 1 upstream sensor is switching slowly. Recommend replace bank 1 (firewall side) catalyst and upstream oxygen sensor. Engine oil is clean and full, LOF was recently performed(about 100 miles). Test drove while monitoring vvt data-desired and actual camshaft angles match. Code has passed monitor 3 times since it set, suspect low/dirty oil caused this to set. Recommend clear code and monitor.
    • Replaced bank 1 catalytic converter. Cleared codes, test drove-ok.

    • Rotated tires, adjusted air pressure and torqued wheel nuts to specification.
    • Removed and replaced both left and right exhaust manifolds. Removed 3 broken mounting studs. Replaced all mounting hardware and gaskets.
    • Replaced all 16 spark plugs and inspected coil boots and coils.
    • Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Flush entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders until clean.
    • Drained and filled transfer case with manufacturer specified fluid.
